Test...

(Or i would like to write all this post in english!!)

Indeed i have to prove to everyone that my english is better and that i'm here for something!!! So like that you will see that i'm a beast in Shakespeare's language...

(For those who don't speak english, i will make a little translation at the end of each part!)

So what's happened to me this week-end? First of all, friday morning was really sad... Indeed, it was Alexia's last day at school and she was pretty upset about that, because we all stay at school for still 1 month... She had to do a little good bye's speech, and it was pretty good! Short but good!! She almost cried, but that's another story!! On the afternoon, we went (with Margaux and Alexia) to Wellington... After a little time at the postshop (that's a surprise!) we went to some souvenir's shops and then directly to the french Café, Simply Paris... And I don't know why, but the girls lost their minds and ordered a "tartiflette" at 4 o'clock!! Crazy... I was more normal, just a chocolate crèpe! But they were so delighted with their tartiflette, it made them smile for hours!!!

Alors, qu'est ce qui m'est arrivé ce week end? Tout d'abord, vendredi a été vraiment triste... En effet, c'était le dernier jour d'Alexia à l'école et elle n'était pas vraiment bien car nous restons tous encore un mois... Elle devait faire un petit discours d'adieux et c'était plutôt bien! Court mais bien! Elle a presque pleuré mais c'est une autre histoire! L'après midi nous sommes allées (avec Margaux et Alexia) à Wellington... Après un moment à la poste (c'est une surprise), nous avons fait quelques magasins de souvenirs et ensuite directement au café français, Simly Paris... Et je ne sais pas pourquoi mais les filles ont perdu l'esprit, et ont commandé une tratiflette à 16h! Je suis restée normal avec une crèpe au chocolat!! Mais elles étaient tellement contentes avec leur tartiflette qu'elles ont eu le sourire pendant des heures!!

After a very long waiting, and a short dinner, we met some korean and japanese in a karaoké... It was like in the movie! Imagine... A big room full of people, a big screen (only in asian), a big remote for select the songs, three big books of available songs and of course two microphones! We first thought, we will spend a very good night because it was funny to see asian people singing... But we were astonished!! They sing very well! A girl explained to us that they spend all their evenings in karaoké in their own countries... So they have experience!! Finally the most funny was the french girls singing "Barbie girl" or "Lady Marmelade"! I didn't take part of this show, but i laughed a lot!! (Yeah, i know, it's not really nice!!) After that we went to "The Shooters", our bar! A good end to the party!!

Après une longue attente et un dîner assez court, nous avons rencontré quelques coréens et japonais dans un karaoké... C'était comme dans les films! Imaginez... A grande salle remplie de gens, un grand écran (seulement en asiatique), une grosse télécommande por choisir les chansons, trois gros livres des chansons disponibles et bien sûr deux micros... Nous avons d'abord pensé que nous allions passé une très bonne nuit parce que c'était marrant de voir des asiatiques chanter... Mais nous avons été très étonné! Ils chantent très bien! Une fille nous a expliqué qu'ils passent toutes leurs soirées dans les karaokés dans leurs pays... Ils ont donc de l'expérience! Finalement le splus droles ont été les françaises chantant "Barbie girl" ou "Lady Marmelade"! Je n'ai pas pris part à ce spectacle mais j'ai beaucoup ri!! (Oui je sais, ce n'est pas très gentil!) Après ça nous sommes allés au Shooters, notre bar! Une bonne fin pour cette soirée!

On saturday, firts of all, a good sleep!! I had to take care of the kids on the evening, so not big plan!!! Just a little cinema! (I know, i go to the cinema quite often... But it's not my fault if all the movies at the moment are really good!!) We saw "The Blind Side" with Sandra Bullock (she had an oscar for that movie!) And it was mind blowning!! The story : Sandra Bullock is an american mother (i should say "an american republican chrestian wealthy white mother") and one day she meets a teenager (i should say "a black big impressive teenager"). He hasn't any home and goes to the kid's school. She offers him a bed for a night... Of course, the night becomes days and weeks... And she pushes him to play american football because he is very good!! I won't tell you all the story but it's a true story and the movie is really really good! I'm not sure it will be on screen in France (yes, i checked on Allociné!) so maybe you will have to wait a little!! But if you have one day, the opportunity to see it, don't hesitate!

Samedi, d'abord, un gros dodo!! Je devais m'occuper des enfants le soir donc pas de gros projet! Juste un petit cinéma! (Oui je sais, je vais assez souvent au cinéma... Mais ce n'est pas ma faute si tous les films en ce moment sont très bons!) Nous avons vu "The Blind Side" avec Sandra Bullock (elle a eu un oscar pour ce film!) Et c'était incroyable! L'histoire : Sandra Bullock est une maman américaine (je devrais dire "une maman américaine républicaine chrétienne riche et blanche") et un jour elle rencontre un adolescent (je devrais dire "un adolescent noir immense et impressionnant") Il n'a pas de maison et il fréquente l'école des enfants. Elle lui offre un lit pour la nuit... Bien sûr, la nuit devient des jours et des semaines... Et elle le pousse à faire du football américain parce qu'il est doué! Je ne vais pas vous raconter toute l'histoire mais c'est une histoire vraie et le film est très bon!! Je ne suis pas certaine qu'il sorte en salle en France (oui, j'ai vérifié sur Allociné!) donc vous allez peut être devoir attendre! Mais si vous avez l'occasion un jour de le voir, n'hésitez pas!

After the cinema i had to go back home really quickly because of Diana and Scotty who had a party! When i arrived, they had already left and Eva (the last "au pair") was here and she took care of the kids... So i came home for nothing! But it was good to be on bed early for one time!! I spent the next day at home, we dropped Eva off to the airport, she had to fly back to Austria... The farewells were pretty sad...

Après le cinéma j'ai dû rentrer à la maison rapidement puisque Diana et Scotty avaient une soirée! Quand je suis arrivée, ils étaient déjà partis et Eva (l'ancienne "au pair") était là et s'est occupée des enfants... Je suis donc rentrée pour rien!! Mais c'était agréable d'aller au lit tôt pour une fois! J'ai passé le jour suivant à la maison, nous avons déposé Eva à l'aéroport, elle devait prendre un avion pour rentrer en Autriche! Les adieux ont été assez tristes...

I could tell you that everything is allright, but it's not completely true... It's really difficult to be an "au pair". First because a lot of people are like me, they don't understand all the parents say, then because you're in a family but you're not part of this family, finally because you miss your family... So i had a little homesick this week end. But i have decided to make some efforts and speak more to my family, because i have still 4 months to spend here and i have to be fluent at the end!! I began tonight during dinner! I have tried to take part of the conversation and i have spoken more! It's a beginning!!

Je pourrais vous dire que tout va bien mais ce n'est pas vrai... C'est vraiment difficile d'être "au pair". D'abord parce que beaucoup de gens sont comme moi, ils ne comprennent pas ce que les parents disent, ensuite parce que vous êtes dans une famille mais vous n'en faites pas partie, enfin parce que VOTRE famille vous manque... J'ai un petit mal du pays ce week end. Mais j'ai décidé de faire des efforts et de parler plus à ma famille, car j'ai encore 4 mois à passer ici et je dois être bilingue à la fin! J'ai commencé ce soir! J'ai essayé de prendre part à la conversation et j'ai un peu plus parlé! C'est un début!!
